Atropal Matt is an undead baby-fetus found in the orange tower of the Castle of the Prism, in the custody of Alí Másquina (an efreet). His throat is cut and he has an aura of black power.
He is identified explicitly: “He is Arya’s son… the father of the one who raped his mother while she was being beheaded.” When Adam takes him in his arms, a psychic wave leaves almost everyone near death.
The baby grows from fetus to child on receiving acceptance and drinking from the purple grail. He has blue eyes and blond hair, and falls asleep in Adam’s arms.
The condition for the orange gem is that the baby be accepted and carried until his father, Arian, recognizes him.
