The Hungry She-Wolf is the she-wolf of the first level of Hell, a reference to the wolf that blocks Dante in Canto I. She is ravenous by nature and now accompanies the group.
- Plutón tamed her: “Ahora es mi niña” (“She is my girl now”).
- She ate the lion and the lynx of the first level.
- She is “the she-wolf of Rome” who nursed Romulus and Remus.
- Plutón offers her as guide and escort: “Ella conoce el camino mejor que nadie” (“She knows the way better than anyone”).
- She taunts the group: “¿Querés que te traiga tu bebé?” (“Do you want me to bring you your baby?”), a reference to Atropal Matt.
