Zeus is a destroyed god who once ambushed and struck down Set with a borrowed thunderbolt, and who is held, with Odin, to be one of the powers on which the world stands. His temple still heals, and the Atlantean “patriots” await his return.

The founding act
Zeus “fell like a thunderbolt” upon Set. The thunderbolt was a loan from the Cyclopes, usable only once, and was spent in that blow. The place where he pierced Set is marked on the mythological map. The final cosmology teaches that the things of the world stand «no solamente por Zeus que emboscó a Set sino por Odín» (“not only by Zeus, who ambushed Set, but by Odin”), who ambushed his own rival.
Cult and sanctuary
The “patriots” of the Atlantean community worship him together with Poseidon and Aphrodite, and believe he “was the one who would cast down the center of tyranny”. A seated statue of Zeus on a pedestal, about three meters tall, serves as a landmark: passing it is “a good sign”. The Greek temple of Mount Vernon may hold “a living statue of Zeus”. The Temple of Zeus is a sanctuary that protects the persecuted and can remove curses.
Blessing and punishment
There is a blessing of Zeus upon “the Lady”. Zeus turned Lycaon into “the first werewolves” and also cast a curse upon the land (the word reached the archive damaged; “curse” is read from context).
Destruction (conflicting accounts)
- One account: “Zeus himself had to destroy him”, a clause tied to Elías, with unclear subject and object.
- Another speaker says: “when the end came for Zeus, that was when he possessed me”.
- A third: the god of death was able to destroy him definitively in hell.
A companion holds a single card that invokes Zeus, at “a very high price”.
Open questions
- Whether the Mount Vernon temple is the Temple of Zeus, and where the three-meter statue stands, is unclear.
- Who the blessed Lady is is unknown.
- Whether the curse on the land and Lycaon’s transformation are one act, and whether today’s werewolves descend from Lycaon, is open.
- Whom Zeus possessed, the card’s price and why it still works are unknown.
- If Zeus was a support of the world, what holds it up now is unanswered.
