Taito is the technical genius of an expedition, recognized by his equipment rather than his face: a suit with “a lot of technology”, a dark helmet and a wristwatch. He later stopped using the name (“Taito is no longer called Taito”), so it designates a stage of his life.

| Spanish entry | Taito |
Description
His suit is recorded as live support or life support (the difference decides whether it keeps him alive or only operating); it “still has the gadgets”. He wears a dark helmet of unstated function, “a cybernetic techno watch” and “a bracelet”. He is missing two fingers, lost in a fall from a projected bridge in an earlier encounter. Age, face and height are not recorded.
The workshop
His workshop is “a place of electronic devices for transmissions and all kinds of receptions”: receivers, transmitters, controllers, cell phone, wifi, satellite, infrared, bluetooth, radio, microwave and, in the same list, “psychic maelstroms” (the psychic vortex). He gathers channels so as never to be without a way to listen, including non-technological ones; his gear is the workshop made portable. Its location, material and size are not fixed.
History
In the decisive operation he volunteered: “Taito, who has that dark helmet, is going to try to place himself in the middle of the sphere” (“place” or “connect”: both are recorded).
Before the final battle, and before all power was cut, he sent a single photo to his wife.
He then dropped his name; what came after answers to Mr. T.
The other Taito
Taito is also a district of Tokyo: “Taito is another district in Japan too. They are representations. They are allegories of those places.” Its relation to the technician is not stated.
Open questions
- What the helmet does is unknown.
- Why he abandoned the name, and what changed with it, is not established.
- Who his wife is, and where she was, is not recorded.
- “Lightweight” and “hide infinity” appear among the receivers; they may be transmission noise.
