Appearance
Sixto aged forty years at once: white shoulder-length hair, a “shrunken”, consumed body. His “Gothic armor of someone who has seen things” is darkened elven plate with silver Gothic elements (“the elf-woman’s”), “between black and reddish”, with surcoats and a detachable helmet that works as a diving helmet. It is likened to “Dracula’s armor”.
Of two crossed swords on his back, one shines brighter; one longsword “generates a kind of hum, an energy”. He wears two rings: the papal ring, which is kissed as the sign of submission to his authority, and “Pelagio’s”, worn “as a keepsake”.
History
- The order of the vampire master “had sent a knight of his, Sir Sixto” to level 6 to fetch a weapons module; he “was looking for the true weapons of deterrence that will control all this chaos”.
- On level 4 he was attacked by the vampire brother of a “mistress”. Marius cured him of a curse.
- “Another path” existed for him alone: a deliberately opened escape route, known only to him, leading straight to the master.
- He admits he could not prevent the infection of the egg.
- After a victory in combat he took charge of the Forum of Set, by arrangement: “the leader of this, we said, would be the blond one”.
- He is also recorded as a gladiator and as the designated guardian of a treasure.
Role
Sixto owes loyalty to the vampire master’s order and also mediates with the company of adventurers. The knights of the Scar of the Sun “are among the most powerful forces here”, and when the order deploys, “Sir Sixto is at the center”.
As Pope he issued his first law:
«No dejarás que nada que no pueda caminar bajo el sol siga existiendo.» (“You shall not let anything that cannot walk under the sun go on existing.“)
Conflicting accounts
- One account presents Sir Sixto as a knight sent by the master’s order; another as a companion of the band, gladiator, treasure guardian and later Pope. The records treat them as two and name them as one.
- As Pope he is called both Sixto and Alexander (VI); why he is called Alexander is left open.
Open questions
- What is “Veydrun Formae”: true name, title, alias or another person?
- What treasure does he guard, and who opened the secret route?
- How did he lose forty years: the vampire, the curse, or something else below?
- Which sword hums? What is the weapons module, and did he obtain it?
- No kinship of his is recorded.
