Gates of the Moon (puertas de la luna) are passages crossed like a portal between regions, in the New World cycle. They give access to the old continent and are associated with the Spaniards.

Description
- The locations of three are known (at least three are in play). Rumors say different factions may control them.
- The name also designates a territory: to the north, along the lake, a land with magic and a connection to Mexico.
- Whoever crosses one is said to pass between eras without losing skills or prior knowledge.
- They are said to have a limited capacity and to endure only up to a point of use or overload. At the close of the record, word was that the gates were about to open.
Open questions
- What happens when a gate is overloaded, and who opens them, is not recorded.
