Wyverns of Krynn are lesser draconic creatures native to the world of Dragonlance. Unlike a full dragon, a wyvern has no forelimbs and uses its wings as front limbs; its tail is venomous. The image shows a wyvern in flight against a burning red sky.
In the shared cosmos
Auro was at one time a “rider of Krynn wyverns” in a past life, before becoming Horseman of War alongside Coyote, the general of the void. Their meeting replaced his life as a rider.
The Krynn association places this wyvern in the Dragonlance cosmology, where Tiamat is known as the Queen of Darkness and lady of the evil five-headed dragons.
