Solar Pitri is a creature of Hindu mythology that the Archive of the new cosmos, after the Triumvirate, places operating “in what serves as America”. The canonical document states: “At the same time, the situation is that of a Solar Pitri, a creature of Hindu mythology, in what serves as America.”

Context
Its arrival makes America plural in mythologies. The territory already holds the Sumerian-Annunaki network (including Wichi-Lobos, a deformation of Huitzilopochtli), the receiving Stone Heads (probably colossal Olmec heads), and the Mexica matrix that Paul Claudel mocked. With the Hindu Solar Pitris, four mythologies (Mexica, Sumerian, Olmec, Hindu) share the territory.
In Hindu mythology the Pitris (pitṛ, “fathers”) are deified ancestors, venerated spirits of the dead. The Solar Pitris (Agnishvattas) are associated with the sun, opposed to the Lunar Pitris (Barhishads).
Function in America
What it does there is not settled. Possible functions:
- A solar patron parallel to Huitzilopochtli (the Mexica sun) and Pelor (the European sun): a third sun, imported from South Asia.
- An ancestral body acting as the memory of America’s dead.
- A parallel to the Annunaki: if they are Sumerian creators, the Solar Pitris are Hindu ancestors in a comparable role.
“Serves as America” suggests symbolic substitution: it occupies the place a local sun god should hold. One hypothesis: the territory was left without a sun god of its own, since Huitzilopochtli/Wichi-Lobos passed to the Annunaki field, and the Solar Pitri replaces him by importation.
