The Platforms are concretions of energy and conductors of power. They appear in all dimensions as supporting columns. They are formed from the essence of the concept (violence, vanity, indecision and the like) that kept a Guardian from finding or joining with their shadow.
In the Game of Shadows they are doors to other dimensions, with the risk of Guardianship. A recurring theme is the Dual Corruption: the pairing of powerful beings, a threat to state governments, in which the killer becomes the successor.
They are attested from 835 A.D.A. and are related to the Band of Dissolution.
