Neil Bluford is the double of Casemiro on Terra: a botanist from Boston and the author of a diary titled “My New Life” (Mi Nueva Vida). He is a displaced twin who lives, on the other side of the mirror of worlds, the life Casemiro did not live.
History
His pages began to leak, handwritten, into Casemiro’s own diary: “I am going to die… I have one day left, maybe two.” With them came a photograph torn in half, captioned “Danel and me” (Danel y yo).
The companions searched for him through the Plane of Dreams, crossing on the green galleons of the Isle of Limbs toward the lands of Suma, where he was thought to be hidden, perhaps in a chrysalis. They did not reach him before the day he himself had been counting ran out.
He appears in the CFA chronicle, in the Venice arc: the revelation in Casemiro’s diary and the search across the sea of Suma.
