Isle of Limbs is the dream twin of Balefire in the Plane of Dreams. It has the same black lighthouse, but its gulls are scarlet, and a Street of Tears descends to a harbor where green galleons moor, sailing for the lands of Suma.
One enters it asleep and naked, through the threshold of the Temple of the Unknown God, at the frontier where dreams meet shadows. It belongs to the World of Dreams and forms part of the Dreamlands.
The search
The companions walked the isle looking among the green galleons for the out-of-phase double of one of them, Neil Bluford. The double is hidden, perhaps in a chrysalis, on the far side of the sea of Suma. Scrying and locate crashed against the city, which does not let itself be fixed.
