Murad I is the Ottoman sultan who commands the invading forces at the Battle of Kosovo Polje (1389). He is a real historical figure. Historically he was killed by Miloš Obilić during or after the battle; in the uchronia his fate is conditioned by the group’s temporal intervention.
He appears in Uchronic Paris, on a later journey (Kosovo), as the Ottoman antagonist.
