Amber Butterfly is a mysterious entity or symbol in the Uchronic Paris chronicle, left floating by the psychopomp dragon when it withdrew from the combat. It is amber in color and suggests a “review” of the case of the Time Bandits before the forces of Death, and the possibility of a future “miracle”. It contrasts with the psychopomp’s grim warning about the souls promised to the war.
