The Mantenientes Knights are three knights in plate armor with a circular green-and-white emblem. In medieval tournament terminology, the Mantenientes are the defenders who hold the field against the challengers (Knight adventurers). The emblem may evoke the colors of a neutral or ecclesiastical faction.

The probable context is the Eiffel Tower Tournament (1890 A.D.A., Antiterra cycle) or an earlier tournament in the gesta of the Regulators.
