Liddha is a drow, one of the four principal members of the Maimed, the band of young women magically mutilated by Papi Balor; her arm is frozen to her torso, and Balor devoured her children.

Description

Her arm is fused to the midline of her body in a fixed position, held by permanent frost or equivalent magic. As a dark elf she belongs to the abyssal matriarchal line of the underground, devoted to Lolth or, if apostate, rebel against the Spider. In the band she stands for the underground, beside Luquimia (Limbo, chaos), Chan (dragon) and Mónaco (aristocracy).

The devoured children

Papi Balor devoured the children of Mónaco and Liddha before the band was freed; the two fight him as mother-avengers. The children’s names perished with them, which is linked to the March of the Modrons, or rather to Papi Balor in that story. The names are not recovered.

History

  • Freed after the victory over Papi Balor.
  • The Library of Mirrors and the defeat of Moloch in Baator.
  • The taking of the Tavern of the World Serpent, their base.
  • The destruction of the Tavern by the March of the Modrons.
  • A last mission to the Pits of the Demon Spider for Graz’zt, after the Amulet of the Planes; she acts as a gathering agent in that arc. Lolth remains a residual presence although the band works for Graz’zt.

Allies include Mina and Hannok.
