Kimchi Princess is a Korean queen, the Queen of Hearts (Q♥) of Host Poker, mentor and lover of Oratiol, who is both King of Hearts and the ace (“Horatio, who invented poker”). With him she is one of the two figures of the Arcana of Hearts who “rise from the altar when the game turns serious”.
The witch Magda summoned her at the poker table when her card came up. In the Pretty Women phase of Antiterra, she ends as guardian of Sagittarius in the Game of Shadows, a zodiacal throne that is both custody and prison.
A ship bears her name, the Kitchy Princess; beneath its hull run pentacle-shaped tunnels descending below Mount Analogue. In a mercantile guise, “Quinchi Princess deals in silks from Siam”. In the Antillean arc the cleric Steel swears to come back for her.
