Juno is a depressed sage, a background figure of continuity in the shared cosmos. He appears in the first arc during the adventure “What Is Fear?”, reappears in the Contest, and appears again in the Dungeon of the Thorn.

| Spanish entry | Juno |
Description
He is an elderly philosopher in a simple robe, seated on a stone bench against a wall, head bowed, hands resting on the Philosopher’s Rod across his knees. His expression is one of profound melancholy. A small open book lies unread at his feet. Around him float vague translucent forms of his triumphs and afflictions: temples, sacrifices, battles, exile, a beloved figure.
Role
He bore the Philosopher’s Rod (also the Rod of Infinity) during the Contest, although he “never put the rod to full effect because of Takijis’ presence.” His melancholy and wisdom persist through all his arcs.
