The Guardian of Time (Corrector Angel) is an anomalous celestial entity whose function is to restore the “normality” of reality. Its epithets are the “Exterminating Angel” and “God’s Exterminating Sword.”
- Trigger: activated by the accumulation of knowledge about reality and time. The group is identified as an “anomaly” for knowing too much.
- Weapon: a destroying sword able to annul the existence of anomalous time travelers.
- Threat: the “tick-tock” of a cosmic clock counting toward the end. If the group keeps traveling and investigating, it risks elimination.
- In the incursion into the astral plane: it manifests as a decapitated angel in the library of the Labyrinth. It warns but does not attack aggressively.
Ariadna warned the group about this entity: the “tick-tock” she had mentioned earlier is now identified as the Guardian.
