The Giant of the Oasis is a colossal creature that guards the stolen throne-palanquin “de la roja” (“of the red one”) at the real Oasis. It is armed with a hammer and a sword and accompanied by about twelve Torcos. It becomes violently active on hearing the name of the King in Yellow.
Death
Swan (also written Suan) killed it with six crossbow shots, all on target, striking the eye and palate. Its death made the Torcos flee. The fight was the final combat in the Oasis, in Uchronic Paris.
Open questions
- The stolen throne “of the red one” possibly points to a conflict with the Red faction.
