The Genesis of Sogol on the Ucronos is the Ardis Vala cosmology linking the founding of Sogol by La Jabalina (the Javelin) above to the Seekers’ gesta (campaign-cycle) below, through the single River Ucronos.

The river and the founding

The Ucronos runs through the Caldero above and, below, through the crystal and over the cliff of the carved ancient city; gods, races and world name change between layers, the river does not.

Above, La Jabalina gathered all the magical and mystical energy it could and threw its javelin on the river. From the throw came Sol o Logos (“Sun or Logos”) — Sogol —, a reconstitution that helped cleanse the upper layers. Beneath, in another layer, connected or not, the Seekers dug, unaware they were under Sogol’s floor.

The ship of thirty thousand souls

On the day the Seekers die (their last descent), someone said: “Sigil is nothing — there are many Sigils; there are worlds in the zodiacs and constellations.” There is not one City of Doors but many, and they are worlds. The Midnight Road’s “ring with a sigel inserted” is an unresolved resonance.

The proposal: to own a 1.6 km ship with thirty thousand souls, sailing its own chrono under a charter to reach the worlds and seek the Arcanum, named — “La Jabalina puede ser” (“it could be”) — after the same company. As four men are devoured in a mausoleum, La Jabalina’s barge enters down the precipice.
