Phlegyas is the Ferryman of the Stygian Lagoon. One of the gargoyles invokes him by shouting: “¡Flejias! ¡Flejias! ¡Acá hay un pródigo!” (“Phlegyas! Phlegyas! Here’s a prodigal!”).
He does not appear in person. The mention indicates that he is a known actor in the lower circles, whom the gargoyles call as an authority or as a transport service.
