- Belgrade (Uchronic Belgrade): Draga Machine is assassinated, Apis is destroyed, and the group is imprisoned.
- Serpent Island (Serpent Island): combat with nagas, discovery of the Lighthouse-Monolith, and a temporal ritual under way.
- Sarajevo (Sarajevo 1914): a time jump, the attack on Franz Ferdinand, and overlapping identities, with the companions standing in as historical conspirators.
