The Library of the Heresiarchs is a vast library of blasphemous texts in the sixth circle of Dis, in the district marked by the library’s banner. Its books are made of iron with driven wedges. The shelves are 40–50 meters high, and things float in the air. The place conveys a deep sense of strangeness.
The librarians are deformed beings, some angelic in appearance, who practice a protocol of not looking: they avoid eye contact, like celebrities ignoring the public.
Its main doors connect to the iron gate of Dis. The Great Grimoire was sought here.
