The Library of the Heresiarchs is a location within Dis, described as a “vast library made of the most blasphemous, heretical and magical texts.” Its tomes have metal pages, wedges (cuñas), and are “made by sky.” It is active.
- The group chooses it as lodging.
- Maristo recognizes the library from previous lives: the tomes were moved from the seventh level to the sixth.
- The Minister (until Artelos) waits there.
- Androgynous angels serve as librarians.
- The stored knowledge is described as “the closest to what was known in all the rest.” All the devils know things that not even they can read.
