Ascalon is a point on the coast of the Holy Land in the Florenzen chronicle (1300).
Description
It appears on the map unrolled at the audience in Limassol: beyond Damascus the rich, with its golden domes, and the Crac of the Knights, and somewhere near Jerusalem, the Gate of Hell.
It is also an enemy route. The ambush by Occhio and Malocchio is paid for with information: Masaccio is coming from Cyprus along the coast and will arrive through Ascalon.
Black Whale of Ascalon
The Black Whale of Ascalon is an inn of the Nobiskruge (inns of the other side), eleventh in their catalog. A man was physically possessed there.
