Antinoo is a young human of Vala, recently departed from his homeland, with natural magical powers, a white streak in his hair earned in near-death experiences, and a declared acceptance of the apocalypse.
Appearance
“A handsome guy, charismatic but very unkempt, with all his hair matted.” He is white-skinned with brown hair, now somewhat darker, worn long, “swept back”, and disheveled after battles. On the side of his head is a streak or patch of white hair, the visible sign of his “experiences very close to death”. He looks adolescent: “the first time he grows his hair long, the first time he dyes his hair”; “like a Kurt Cobain, but more of a kid, like a Kurt Cobain fan”. Whether that comparison belongs to this world or another is not stated.
He wears an old, worn hooded tunic with a rope for a belt, and a headband (“Una headband. Una bicha.”). Whether the outfit is the habit of an order or traveling clothes is not recorded.
Powers and abilities

- Magic: he learns it “very quickly”, building on natural magical powers rather than starting from nothing. How rare such powers are in Vala has not been measured.
The battles and contacts with death “changed him a great deal”; beyond his hair, the changes are not recorded.

The color of his tunic is disputed:
- “a half-gray tunic”;
- “a dark, worn tunic”;
- “It’s a tunic. Ultraviolet!”, noted as a possible joke about the colors.

- What a “bicha” headband is in Vala (material, form, whether it marks membership) is unknown.
- Who or what teaches him magic, and where the natural gift ends and learning begins, is unknown.
- Which battles changed him is not recorded.
