The Ring of Protection is a bronze ring engraved with microscopic formulas, a magical object of ancient tradition that shields the body against the blow and the spirit against the curse.
The engraved formulas evoke ritual protection seals. In the shared cosmos it appears as equipment of characters facing infernal and planar combat, such as the Pit Fiend, the First Level of Hell in the CDI cycle, and Asmodeus, lord of infernal pacts. The Deck of Many Things can grant or destroy objects like it.
