Tel is a demon whose honor exists as a separate object: a speaking sword, now carried by La Pluma. The name also designates a dynasty, a locatable presence on another plane, and the one who raised and abandoned Helter.

The sword
“The sword is the honor of Tel”, and whoever carries it bears Tel’s honor. Also called “Tel’s katana”, it is carried by La Pluma as a katana. Near it a small female voice, like a spirit in sorrow, is heard saying: «Vamos, ahora somos juntos uno, como siempre quise» (“Come, now we are one together, as I always wanted”). It radiates conjuration and divination magic. Tel speaks Draconic.
Whereabouts
Tel can be located: there are coordinates to obtain on the plane of dreams. Tel’s earlier whereabouts was the cathedral. Tel is said to be “in Sigil” and to be “the Lady of Pain”; whether this is fact or the speaker’s belief is not established.
Dynasty and abandonment
There is a dynasty of Tel, to which someone is closely bound. Tel raised and abandoned Helter; that abandonment was Helter’s breaking point.
