Dragon ships (naves dragón) are a special type of vessel used on important diplomatic voyages and, in at least one city, as the main defense ship. They can sail through the air and submerge, and one of them can also magically appear and disappear. One has been seen operating in the region of Isidora; another is recorded anchored at the main island of the other city.
Appearance
They have a dragon-head figurehead, sails, black banners of the Khan, decorative spines “like an intense creature”, and gun ports. One low-confidence account adds fox, “leonal” and demon tails.
Open questions
- How many exist, who builds them, and whether the Khan whose banners they fly owns them or only rides them are not recorded.
