Amun (Amón) is an Egyptian deity and religious power predating Christianity: a ram-formed god called “Lord of the Horns” and “the hidden one”, associated with hidden time. According to a medium-confidence record he is the god of people’s freedom and of time.

Chroniclers attribute to him prophetic power over kings and generals and direct intervention in the selection of emperors. In Thebes, they say, he took part in the wedding of the gods.
At the oasis, Alexander the Great discovered he was the son of Amun, which is why he was later depicted with ram horns. A low-confidence record connects Amun “from eternities” to the Macedonian’s lineage; the archive records this without endorsing it.

- Another source records him as a principal deity mixing Zeus and Amun, a syncretism recorded as it arrived.
