Osporn is the beheaded brother of Lagu. He is mentioned briefly: Lagu remembers that he “gave her in marriage to that decrepit old man” (Nycols O’Cush) and that he “deserved to die” for that selfishness. Lagu held his head in Lagu’s lap. His memory is associated with the ill omen of the dead snake.
