Description

  • To the north lies the Land of Black Ice. The mountains bear names that are almost anagrams of real ones: Altay / Yatil.
  • Its city is Urga, known as Ulan Bator only from around 1600.
  • Its extreme landscape is the double desert: the border between a cold desert where it snows and a desert of sand and stone, inspired by northern Mongolia, where the Siberian wind strikes. The group remains there after the flash, with no trace of the ship.
  • The tribute of myrrh (Mirra) is paid to these lands.
