Mephistopheles (Mefistófeles, also Mefisto) is an archdevil of the Invisible Cities chronicle, who holds the ninth circle of Hell together with Asmodeus.

- In the division of Hell shown by the murals of the Bronze Citadel, the generals who do not meddle with archdevils are below; in the ninth are Asmodeus and Mephistopheles.
- One makes a pact with his head, not with him.
- A note asks whether the one who made a pact with the head of Mephistopheles might be loyal to Lucifer, and says loyalty to the Blue House was demanded for a reason.
