History

Rintrah took its name from Mabrón, who christened the order. Kal-el hanged Mabrón with his own hands; the grievance is not recorded. Killing the one who named the group was treason of the highest order, against the origin of the name itself, and the group did not forgive it. Such betrayals are among the few that draw direct demonic retaliation.

Graz’zt, the demon prince most watchful of the pacts of the Abyssal Plane, captured him personally. The torture, recorded as a demonstration case, sought no information. By the latest records Kal-el is still there. His punishment is measured not in time but in the times his name is repeated in other courts, each repetition renewing it.

Description

He stands naked to the waist, white skin cut with small precise wounds, arms spread, wrists and ankles chained to the wall. Four lesser demons, two with curved horns and two scaled, hold ritual instruments; above, Graz’zt presides from a barely visible throne. His eyes remain open and defiant.
