Godfrey de Saint-Omer is the second-in-command of the Order of the Temple under Hugues de Payens, in charge of its military side. He is nicknamed the “white Guelph” and is Flemish by origin.
He is a real historical figure: Godfrey de Saint-Omer was a co-founder of the Templars together with Hugues de Payens.
