The electromagnetic pulse (EMP) is a device halfway between a grenade and a Faraday cage that disables all electronics within its reach. It was made and carried by Taito.

Use
In a world where every camera transmits and every transmission is a condemnation, the pulse does not destroy: it switches off. The band used it repeatedly to ruin the transmissions of the Battle Royale that hunted them. With it they bought from the Master, at the price of burnt scrap, the costliest thing of 2087: a few minutes of silence in which nobody watches.
