Delcan is the first companion of the group in Les Libertateurs. His name reads as “Del Can”.
He is introduced in the Sudetes, a region of Central Europe, as a slave in the mine of Mr. Jacobeco in Karlovy Vary, of aberrant lineage, with a Lovecraftian family tumor and a red chrysalis. In the revolt at Place Royale he falls riddled with bullets while inciting the mob, but does not die: a stroke of fortune reverses the outcome and he survives. Soon after, he leaves the cast, withdrawn from the gesta (campaign-cycle). His place is taken by Lorie, a magus elf, already in the New York stage. The entry of Gideon as a companion comes by its own route.
