The Castle of Bones is a fortress in the land of Caladan, south of the valley of Ardis Vala, which was not built but grows by itself, adding halls; its growth signals a great attack in preparation.

Description
In the observatory mosaic of the Halls of Thoth, where the whole region can be read like a sky, it was reported: “The castle of bones is growing, sir.” Pope Alejandro Sixto read it as the announcement of an immense attack.
It stands where, according to the old tavern keeper, there was a natural amphitheater with strange cults “before the lord who is not named put the castle there”, and where the bells are said to have been pendulums that cut people in half. When its lord first saw it, returning from the ash with the mist following him on the road, he did not know whether he was seeing or remembering it; he called it the Castle of the Panther. It rules the domain of Valakhan of the Mist.
History
The last Seekers swore in a tavern that they would drive the unnamed one out of his castle. They fell two days’ journey away, in a mausoleum (The Seekers’ Last Descent), without ever seeing its spires up close. There was no assault, siege or ending: the castle kept growing, and Los Condenados inherit a valley where it still grows.
