Abraham Wood is a Virginia timber magnate, shown in a red coat and wig, with an interest in Shawnee lands. At the start of the gesta he assembles the expedition that sends the group to Fort Henry, and sends a party led by his son Thomas. His commercial ambition sets the whole gesta in motion.
