Description
Settlements regard it as a zone of danger and insecurity. It is full of burial mounds that the record calls “antighos” (spelled thus in the source) and is inhabited by dangerous creatures and beastmen. Its northern and southern edges offer parties resources or enemies.
It has “abejas bielíferas” (the spelling is uncertain: honey-bearing or gall-bearing bees). In one zone the record places a site called “Tour of Thames”.
Open questions
- Whether the bees yield honey or gall is not settled.
- “Tour of Thames” may be a distorted echo of Türos Tem.
