Ben is a young northern axeman, about twenty-five, marked with red runes and a scar across his face, who as a child invited a demon, was possessed and enjoyed the possession. In the infernal circle where he is found he is called the “demon lord of the place”.

Description
“There is a young guy. He is clearly a Norseman”: white, tall, with long blond hair. He is bare-chested, in leather trousers and boots. On his skin are “like paint marks, as if tattooed, red”: runes inscribed on the body. Half his face is damaged, the skin “somewhat deformed”, with “a scar that crosses the whole face”; the record breaks off on whether it is burned.
His “enormously enormous” axe, its haft reaching his head, rests upright on the floor like a staff; its name, material and powers are not recorded.
He is received with the formula «Ese es el nombre con el que te recibimos.» (“That is the name with which we receive you.“)
History
He is “the boy who invited the demon”. During the fight against the guardian of the infernal circle it was established that “this guy is a demon” and its local ruler.
No source says the possession put the runes there or caused the scar.
The petal ceremony
At the ceremony of the petals Ben chooses a number: eleven. What the ceremony is, what the choice means, and how it relates to the infernal circle are not stated.
Open questions
- Whether “Ben” is his birth name or a name of reception.
- Which demon he invited.
- Whether the possession persists or resolved into his lordship; the records state both.
- Which infernal circle he rules, its name and extent.
- What the runes say, who inscribed them, and whether they are the red paint marks.
- The origin of the scar, and which people or region of Vala he comes from.
