The Tower of Phlegyas is an immensely tall tower at the center of the city of Dis, in the Sixth Circle of Hell.
Description
- It is estimated at 999 miles, an approximation of infinity, and pierces the hurricane above. It is visible from 1,600 km away.
- Four enormous railless arches span the void around it.
- A platform at its base has a dwarfed wall.
- It pierces the cosmic wall, the hurricane.
- It is called the “eye of the tower”, which suggests a center of cosmic surveillance.
Open questions
- It may be connected to the Black Tower of the Castle of the Prism.
