The Rosetta Stone is a magical translation codex: a stela bearing ancient Greek and two Egyptian scripts whose relationship enables translation. One inscription names year 363 of Ra and another year 136 of the Cakravartin under Atlantis; these do not provide a simple chronological equivalence. The stone activates spontaneously. The companions do not yet know how to command it.
