The Pentagrams / Seals of Solomon are ritual engravings on the Temple floor, beneath the feet of each Holy Paladin (about 100 symbols). Each is a seven-pointed star ringed with Hebrew characters, the same engraving repeated a hundred times.
Function
- The inscription may have an arcane anti-invocation potential.
- It is unclear whether they protect against or contain demons, or instead summon them as a malign trap.
- One interpretation reads them as “Seals of Solomon”: arcane symbols against invocations, a key component of the ritual.
- Observers question why anything would be invoked if the seals protect.
