Order of the Golden Muscle is a Masonic lodge of Boston, seated in a cavern farm, that forged Steve Reyes before his late entry into Les Libertateurs.
| Type | Faction (lodge) |
| Seat | Cavern farm, Boston |
| Head | John Scott, “the archmage” |
| Spanish entry | Orden del Músculo Dorado |
Structure
The order has seven grades, of which only three are public: neophyte, initiate and master. Mantles run from black to gray. It operates through sleeper cells that activate when called.
Its head is John Scott, “the archmage”, a noble philosopher of Boston and mentor of the American necromancer Steve Reyes. Steve Reyes was formed in the Order and is a member of its grades.
The older order
In the revelation of the New York arc (1784), Boston appears as one of the two seats of an older order that “camouflaged itself as freedom and initiation and is now corrupt”. Boston stands for the lodge of the crepúsculo del plata (twilight of the silver) and the think tanks; New York for the finances of Looking to the Future.
Open questions
- Whether the Golden Muscle is exactly that Boston “twilight lodge” or a sister lodge of the same root is barely hinted.
