The Death and Transformation of Patience is a pivotal event of Arc I. Patience is captured aboard the Flying Dutchman and subjected to a sacrificial ritual in which she accepts killing an infant. Her familiar says: “Merecés lo que soñás” (“You deserve what you dream”). She is transformed into a Sinspawn.
The chronicler describes it as a “deliberate decision toward darkness, not coercion.” The event is linked to a serpentine pattern.
