Mage Khan is an aquatic creature of the blue tower of the Castle of the Prism: an enormous giant electric eel with partial camouflage.
It attacks with a long-range bite, a constriction that squeezes until it breaks, and electric discharges that it recharges between assaults. In the first encounter it defeats the incoming companion, who falls unconscious; in the second, Maristo manages to obtain the gem. It produces a temporal echo in which voices of past and present overlap.
