Ganelon, the Lesser Knight, is a guard and observer of the group. His name is a possible reference to Ganelon, the historical traitor of the Song of Roland.
He is described as “quite serious,” with a disapproving gaze. He keeps watch in the library during the negotiations. It is uncertain whether he is a true ally or a spy.
