The Old Man (Domestic Construct) is a house spirit, a Dodi (house sprite), first seen in the operation at the Temple, when the sanctuary was opened.
Description
An old man with a long beard (almost to the waist), brown beads or rosary, heavy metal boots and a blood-red rag. He moves with great speed and carries out cleaning orders with extreme efficiency.
Abilities
- Supernatural speed: he appears and disappears.
- Faith magic, present though not special.
- Ritual cleaning with the rag, absorbing blood at great speed.
- Alchemical preparation: he turns bodies into “blood of the shadows”, a vampiric consumable.
Role
Steward of the Sanctuary after combat: he performs the ritual cleaning and distributes the loot. His loyalty is ambiguous: he is loyal to the dark Templars, yet obeys the new administration without question.
