Butterfly Effects / Change of Events is the debate of the Templar council after the revelation of the Apocalypse: if the group identifies the “original causal factor” of the Apocalypse, can they kill or prevent it?
- Paradox: is killing the villain the very event that caused the apocalypse in the first place?
- Implied answer: the group needs to “understand which events they were in order to modify them.”
- Possibility: the group may itself be the cause of the apocalypse, a causal ouroboros.
